Area Manager, Sales ( Contract ) **Immediate Starter preferable**

Globally Recognized German Automotive Company is looking for an Area Manager who is willing to take responsibility for all aspects of importer performance and profitability, in compliance with the importer contract. You will be responsible for monitoring the achievement of overall sales objectives based on an agreed business plan and monitor the compliance with company standards and acts as custodian of company interests and brands.
 

  • 6-month Contract, start asap
  • Salary S$ 7000 - S$ 9000, based on experience
  • Close to Harbourtfront MRT


Your Responsibilities might include:

  • Recommend tactical measures to the sales director to achieve their sales objectives.

  • Analyse dealer's key performance indicators and suggest plans for sustainable return in sales.

  • Regularly checks each dealer's sales capacity vs. forecast business growth.

  • Ensures that planning for staff, capacity, facilities etc. are adequate and reports any discrepancies.

  • Ensures that monthly sales reports are submitted to the management.

  • Ensure Vehicle stock, availability of showroom and demonstration vehicles

  • Monitors availability of marketing materials and its proper use / display at the showrooms.

  • Collects and distributes market intelligence between importer, NSC and local market (competitive actions, grey market activities, etc.).

  • Advises appropriate dealer remuneration schemes for customer facing employees.



Requirements:

  • Preferably a university degree in business administration.

  • Good understanding of business and project management techniques.

  • Demonstrable motor industry experience, ideally in vehicles sales.

  • Strong commercial background with good knowledge of accounting and financial statements (profit and loss account, balance sheet).

  • Thorough understanding of sales and marketing principles.

  • Results-driven self-starter with strong initiative.
