My client is a leading name in the ophthalmologic equipment and now seek an experience Service Engineer to join them to cater to their expanding needs
Responsibilities:
- Assume prime responsibility to support installation, preventive maintenance, validation, repair services and after sales services for all products
- Schedule planned maintenance calls and perform regular customer visits to review complexity of malfunctions
- Determine corrective actions required to restore systems in an efficient manner
- Liaise and collaborate with sales team to understand key customer requirements and review all service contracts on a regular basis for sales budgeting
- Prepare, update, and maintain all logs, equipment performance data and service records
- Ensure strong relationships with all customer representatives
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or related technical field with at least 5 years' experience in a technical service role
- Experience with excimer or femtosecond-based lasers or other medical lasers
- Stronghold with ophthalmic lasers will be a big plus
- General understanding of LASIK, IOL and refractive surgery will be an added advantage
