Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team for multiple programs, product development, sustaining program management, NPI, engineering management and escalation management for existing product platforms with the key goal of assuring customer success in utilizing the products
- Liaise with engineering, manufacturing and marketing to resolve product issues and define and drive the technology and development roadmap for all products
- Manage communication with external customers and interact with global field offices in relation to strategy and R&D development
- Improve business and technical strategies for supporting expanding customer base through hardware and software projects
- Lead a team - both directly and as part of a matrix organization to establish business cases, drive new concepts and phases of the projects
- Improve, upgrade and replace hardware and software to enhance goals in improving customer satisfaction, driving new business opportunities, and improving operational efficiency
- Work with vendors and customers, drive integration, testing and release of new solutions
- Mitigate business, technical and schedule risks across all projects
- Liaise with finance on budgetary requirements and tracking, establishing schedules, and establishing periodic communication to senior stakeholders
- Liaise with engineering, manufacturing and marketing to resolve product issues and define and drive the technology and development roadmap for all products
- Manage communication with external customers and interact with global field offices in relation to strategy and R&D development
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- 10 years or more in the development, service and manufacturing or advanced semiconductor equipment
- Solid understanding of optics, optical components and optoelectronic systems
- Stronghold with Opto-mechanics and materials
- Systems engineering background including requirements, integration and testing, and product release
- Prior experience in managing multiple engineering programs and entire PLC management experience showcasing understanding of technical and business risks
- Prior experience with complete product life cycles showcasing understanding of project risk including business, technical and schedule risks
- Excellent Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
