A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a self-motivated and technically strong in-house and/or firm experienced legal counsel,
6 months contract with potential for extension
Salary ranges from S$ 12,000 to S$ 14,000 per month
Located in Singapore Central Business District
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify legal issues relating to business transactions or operations; provide legal analysis and propose pragmatic solutions
- Resolve routine legal matters with limited supervision
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts
- Assist more experienced attorneys in resolving legal issues on cross-functional projects
- Represent the company externally to customers, suppliers, competitors or government agencies; resolve legal issues using negotiation skills and legal expertise
- Help select and/or direct the work of outside counsel
- Where necessary, develop and operate within budgets for assigned legal matters with supervision from more experienced attorneys
- Advise senior legal management of significant project developments /matters in a timely manner
- Lead and coordinate area and local projects and communications
- Advise country, division and regional general managers, directors and managers
Requirements:
- Law degree obtained from a university in any Commonwealth country.
- Called to the Bar in at least one ASEAN jurisdiction or in the UK, US or ANZ
- 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience will be advantageous
- Experience in healthcare industry preferred
