My client is a world leader in Manufacturing Automation products. Currently looking to add a (Junior) Logistics Analyst into their team to optimize their Logistics and Distribution network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and report Logistics KPIs
- Coordinate with distributors and forwarders to arrange optimal shipment schedule and consolidate loads
- Optimize Inventory levels by identifying back order trends and part usage analysis
- Develop and maintain payment systems to avoid invoice discrepancies with vendors
- Determine packing and labeling requirements for storage and transportation
- Determine parts availability with planning department
- Track and expedite deliveries from suppliers
- Maintain logistics records, procedures and trade compliance documentation
- Communicate with vendors, warehouse, freight forwarders and custom brokers to identify areas of improvement
- Evaluate distribution and inventory performance to maximize efficiency and reduce cost
- Keep track of pricing structures to adequately reflect cost of logistics
- Compute performance metrics such as warehouse handling cycle time, order fulfillment rates and inventory turns
- Analyze logistics data using data mining, modeling and/or cost-benefit analysis

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain (preferred)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Logistics Role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High-sense of urgency and proactive
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Experience applying Data Analytics into Logistics Network Evaluation (Big Plus)
