This is an exciting role as head of key accounts for the pharmacy channel for a consumer healthcare brand to be based in Malaysia. You will be leading the planning and analysing of sales activities and promotions in this channel and managing the sales team to achieve the sales goals and budgets. The role will be in charge of managing allocated key accounts ensuring optimal profitability and high standards of customer service ensuring you build strong rapport and growth of their business in Malaysia and Singapore market.
You will create strategies for business development using information gathered from market dynamics, channel segmentation and the overall business objective. You will work closely with the other National sales managers across the other channels and engage in best practice sharing and identifying new initiatives or opportunities for implementation. As the lead, you must keep abreast of competitor landscape and proactively manage sales forecasts and any impacts to it and provide recommendations where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of work experience in sales and key account management in the consumer goods or healthcare space with strong knowledge and familiarity of the pharmacy channel. Prior experience in other modern trade channels including supermarkets and convenience stores will be a plus. You must be highly organized, an effective communicator with strong presentation skills. Proven track record of successful team management and problem solving is essential.
