Principal Food Technologist - Meat Specialization

Our client is a well-known International Food Ingredients Business who are currently looking to hire a suitable candidate for a Principal Food Technologist role. Reporting to the Application manager, this role will be responsible for Product Development processes from the Laboratory all the way to pilot plant productions (Commercialisation) mainly on Meat application systems. It covers Experiment designing, Process studies, Recipe development, Process optimization and troubleshooting. It's a regional role that supports technical support for the ingredient formulations, technical training and assisting on production trails.

Requirements

  • M. Sc. or B. Sc. in food science / food technology, or related Science degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience food product development/food technology/Food ingredients sector
  • Knowledge in meat application systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills
  • Willingness to travel - 20% travel
