My client is a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry and now seek an experienced Engineer to lead, initiate, plan and executive site based capital projects
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility to develop and issue the 5 years site master CAPEX plan with estimated capital expenses and complete the approved projects in the CAPEX plan and capital expenses within the total approved budget
- Lead multiple projects (up to 2 million USD) project from initiation to completion - define the project scope, drive feasibility study, concept design, and detailed design phase
- Manage the contractors during the construction phase to deliver the agreed quality, costs and schedule of the projects
- Coordinate and manage the commissioning, IQ and OQ phases of the projects
- Ensure completed projects and documents/drawings are properly handed over the users and Technical Services
- Propose and evaluate modifications to equipment, processes and operations to improve safety, increase efficiency and enhance goals
- Supervise outside contractors to develop and implement Capital projects and plant modification
- Involve in new customer tech transfer and risk assessment
- Maintain safe working environment by establishing and enforcing construction procedures, rules and regulations
- Manage external consultants and contractors for EPCV work and to obtain all necessary permits and licenses
- Lead or participate in commissioning activities of new equipment installations
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with at least 8 - 10 years' of relevant experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment
- Expertise in the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Solid understanding in process equipment design and operation
- Good knowledge of key business process such as change control, permit to work, drawing management, documentation etc.
- Experience in managing and handling stakeholders from corporate level is essential
- Prior experience in dealing with global and corporate projects
