Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Manage safe start up and shutdown of process/unit
  • Perform DCS operations and controls
  • Utilities and boiler operations
  • Ensure routine tasks and operations checklists are completed
  • Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely
  • Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift change

Requirements

  • Diploma with background in chemical technology
  • 5 years of experience in a process plant environment
  • Class 2 boiler Certification
