My client is on the lookout for a Field Application Engineer who can deliver technical expertise in IC test solutions to customers. You'll be working closely with the sales team to develop solutions while providing training/support as well.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre/post-sales consultation for Semiconductor Test Systems to customers.
- Resolve customer's pre/post production test program issues to minimize test system down time
- Understand customers testing needs and propose testing solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and execute support plans as part of the customer account team
- Lead test program development/conversion and productivity improvement projects based on customer's requirement
- Deliver training programs for the customer's engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 7 years of experience within semiconductor industry
- Knowledge of IC testing, RF and power testing
- Knowledge of C++ programming and Linux OS
- Good communication skills with experience in customer management
- Strong problem solving skills with some level of project management experience
- Ability to travel at short notice
