Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for driving manufacturing quality and customer quality for their equipment manufacturing business unit
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations and quality team
- Develop and execute business unit, department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives
- Leads business units, departments and functions through multiple levels of managers. Develop these business activities to achieve key business objectives
- Direct and control the activities of one or more functional areas and participate in customer and supplier quality items as needed.
- Responsible for meeting customer expectations in product quality, responsiveness and services and interface with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide clear and well-articulated vision, strategies and plans to continuously improve product and service quality for customers
- Develop and strengthen the Quality organization and manage general business requirements
- Establish roles and responsibilities to achieve in manufacturing line and customer support
- Ensure that quality control inspections, tests, Root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective procedures are coordinated throughout the organization.
- Significant coordination and partnership with the US Manufacturing , Quality and NPI (New Product Introduction) Teams
- Apply in-depth knowledge of own segment/function, business and commercial expertise to differentiate from competition
- Evaluate key business challenges and direct the development of innovative solutions
- Identify, grow, mentor and retain top talent
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 15 years' of experience in the equipment industry
- Strong ability to work with regional and headquarter team for results
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes, defects and yield and Knowledge of process steps required to build different layers and structures
- Experience with leading OEM company and/or leading chip manufacturing company will be highly desirable
- Strategic long term thinking developed through continued expansion of engineering capability and growth in the business as a whole by aligning with the company strategy
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices
- Ability to influence and negotiate C level management
- Prior experience in a high matrixed organization
